History
This restaurant opened in October of 2000. The over fifty-year-old building was used as a net house and had tongue-and-groove paneling on the walls, with original pine flooring. Eating at Jason’s will provide a unique experience while vacationing or touring on the Island.
Chef Biography

Both Jason Wells and James Bowen cook in the restaurant.
Owner Biography

Jason’s is owned by Jason Wells and James Bowen, both life-long residents of Ocracoke. Both have worked in restaurants since they were in grade school, and do their own cooking. Jason, a UNC graduate, is very involved in Boy Scouts and Youth Basketball.
