The Jolly Roger Pub & Marina is located on Silver Lake in the Village of Ocracoke, giving this eatery the distinction of being the only restaurant on the Island that features waterfront dining. All seating is outdoors where you can enjoy a meal while watching the local fishermen bring in their catch.

History

Peggy Wrobleski, a daughter, created the restaurant in 1987, and supervised the construction project. The eatery is still managed by Peggy, who spends the off-season teaching at the University of Maryland.

Jolly Roger Pub and Marina

The restaurant is owned by the Wrobleski family whose mother and father relocated to the Island from New Jersey.  Across the street, they built The Silver Lake Motel, a convenient place to stay when touring the Island.
