History

Located at Mile Post 16 on the Beach Road, South Beach Grille was established in 2009. Previously a surf shop, the name is derived from its location at the South end of the beach. The warm yellow, blue, and peach hues create a warm, tropical atmosphere that the whole family can enjoy. Beautiful beach paintings, done by local artists, decorate every wall. Written on the walls and beams are quotes such as “Laughter is an instant vacation,” by Milton Berle and “We must be willing to get rid of the life we planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us,” by Joseph Campbell.

South Beach Grille is truly a family owned and operated business. Wayne and Kerstin employee their two sons and their daughter. Kerstin also operates a catering business out of the restaurant.

Owner Biography

South Beach Grille

Owner/operators Wayne and Kerstin Everhart both used to work with a corporation that assisted restaurants with various aspects of the business. They mainly worked with restaurants in regards to opening new locations, and in training staff.
